working visa for australia with a conviction + caution

i am looking to go australia to travel for a year later this year but have made 2 very silly mistakes and i am woried now i wont be able to go. i want to get a working visa jus to make a bit of money as i go along, but i got a dui conv in aug 2004 (3yr 1/2 ago) and a caution earlier this year for drunk and dissorderly. does anybody know if they will know about these, will a crb need doing in order to get a visa?? do you fink my chances are small now???
thanks to any one that can ched any light, i just cant seem to find anything about it

suggests that you have to declare any convictions and that if you say you have none you may have to prove it.

How much they will hold it against you I don't know - I can say that you wouldn't be allowed into Canada with a DUI.

There's a phone number to ring for advice. They would be able to tell you if it's worth applying. As it's not an official site you won't be giving anything away to the Australian government
