Austrian lakes

Has anyone stayed here? Still looking at options not too far from airports. Can anyone recomend a hotel or particular area? Is there much to do in the area? We really want somewhere overlooking a lake.

Hi, a few years back we stayed at Bad Goisern, about half an hour from Salzburg (beautiful place). From memory we weren't very far from quite a few lakes, can't remember the names, but the best trip of all was to Hallstatt, I remember seeing B&B signs there, hope this helps.
