X-box 360 hard drive recovery

Hi There
Does anybody know how to recover an account on the hard drive ? My son had problems with signing in, all was too slow, so he rang the helpline. They told him to empty the cache, which he did, still not working. So they said to connect with a lead, he did, not working either. Then they told him to delete his account and then recover it. He did delete his account, but can't recover it now. Helpline siad "sorry, but we can't help you with that", !!! He's now very upset, so am I actually, and we are hoping for some advice from you guys ! Thank you very much in advanve !

Press the big button in the middle of the controller and select recover gamertag and enter the email address and password associated with the account .

Thank you ChuckFickens. I will try later this afternoon when my son is back from School. If this doesn't work, could I get back to you ? Maybe you have another idea what can be done. In the meantime I am grateful to you for taking the time to answer me...Thank Youuuuuuu.....!
