when I try to go to one of my favorites, i keep getting a medical site instead.  it is like my favorite sites are being transferred to this site called  rx med.  how can I correct it?

One way (and probably at this stage, the only) is to right click on the favourate link in question and then properties and edit the URL textbox to the one you want. Or, go to the website you want, then click on add to favourites and overwrite the existing sortcut. Or, it could be that the site you're trying to access is re-directing you to this other site because it has changed its URL, or for some other reason.
Your browser has been hijacked by some malware. You should download Ad-Aware and Spybot and run them on your system, that should clear the problem. Also you might wanna try the free PestScan at http://www.pestpatrol.com/

want to thank you both---yes, i had been broached by an adware and have since now gotten it under control.  but, again thanks for the inputs.  ;o)

goody, i finily found someone else that has this hijacker..

 

ive tried everything to remove it,ad-aware,spybot,plus many others couldn't find it... what did you use to get rid of it?

what did you finily find that got rid of the rxmed hijacker(spyware)?

ive tried 3 or 4 different spyware removers and none found it.. my email is [email protected]
