Where do all the emails go?
When you send one and it doesn't get there and you don't get a postmaster email saying it couldn't be be delivered then where do all the little emails go?

Now for a more sensible answer
Email is fast, but it isn't instantaneous. Sometimes the mail server you happen to be using ahs problems connecting to the mail server the person you are sending the email to. When that happens your server keeps trying for a while before sending you an undeliverable message. How long your server keeps trying is up to whoever is running the server - I've used one which kept trying for two weeks (though that one did tell you there were problems after 10 days).
Sometimes the message gets sent to the recipient's mail server, but for some reason that one can't deliver the email. Again, if the email address is valid, the server will keep trying to deliver it for a while before telling you it can't be delivered.
So, if your vanished email(s) were sent recently, it's possible that they are waiting to be delivered, and you won't be told until they what is happening to them until they are returned as undeliverable

Right thanks. BUT where do all the little emails that never get delivered (and no message about them from the server) go?

They get held by the server that can't deliver them for a set amount of time and then deleted.

i know,
you see when you send an email, there's a little hungry monster who checks them and when they are sent by mad women named dawnty who ask daft questions, he gobbles them up, that why he gets his dinner often, coz the mad woman dawnty sends alot of crazy emails, lol

It could go into a spam folder.
I receive loads of emails from my daughter in law but I didn't receive one she sent earlier in the week. Tonight I found it in the spam folder
