Would anyone know if whilst recording from a sky + box to the above dvd recorder that you can pause a recording?I've looked in the instructions & i can't see that you can.I just want to make sure

I always use DVD-RW ( or DVD+RW) by using re-writables,you can play about & test your recording,try pausing,& when you are happy with the result burn to DVD-R orDVD+R & then delete your RW to use again.Ron.

Sony RDR-HX525

I bought a Sony RDR-HX525 DVD recorder. I followed the instructions to connect the leads but when I try to connected the lead from the DVD to the sky box the connect wont fit (SKY BOX)

Sony RDR-HX870 dubbing.

When trying to transfer some recordings from my RDR-HXD870 Sony DVD recorder/player's hard drive on to a DVD disc, it sometimes comes up with the message "this cannot be hi-speed dubbed"....
