Find it difficult to use ITunes, cant arrange my music so easy to get to.

Ok I bought an ipod touch 16gb, of course its really nice and I have synced a pod cast I listen to, also spent lots of money on the apple store, but I cant put my music on it with out it just going every were, its nuts.

Has any one got any experience with itunes Id really appericate some input, like for instance I have a folder with a bunch of public domain radio shows see here: http://i34.tinypic.com/2naqxih.jpg

Id like to stick them all in one folder on the ipod and call it bill jenkins and be able to easly listen to them.

When sorting files to put them on the ipod and keep it tidy what do I have to keep in mind, I end up sorting by song and listing every darn song on the device.

To be honest I really like the ipod but this is putting me off it, its like I have to spend 12 hours arrange things just so its tidy on the ipod.

interested to hear you feedback.

Question Author

Ok just found out I need to look at play lists.

My other question if any body knows is there any way to repeate a segment in an audio file over and over, and also play it slowly, this will be used for learning new langauge words such as japanse and stuff.

thank you

The iPod Touch is brilliant and once you get used to iTunes, they work really well together.

It sounds like you are not using playlists in iTunes. At the bottom of the blue panel on the left is a + button. Press that and an untitled playlist will appear. name that Bill Jenkins. Go to the main library and drag across the radio show .mp3 files to the new playlist you have created. Next time you sync your computer with your iPod, the playlist, and everything you put in it will be easy to find.

You should put albums and your own compilations in their own playlists. Likewise, the music you have download on the iPod will sync back to the computer where you can put it in playlists.
