how do i protect a confidential workbook in Windows Vista

I have a workbook with my personal financial information and I want it to be passwork protected as it was using Excel, but I can't find a tools option in the save menu - does anyone know how to do it?

Click on tools, select options, then click on the security tab at the top there should be a place to enter a password to open the sheet, put a password in there click ok.

it will ask you to confirm your password, type in the password again and click ok... then as they say bob's your uncle!

good answer but in options the only choices I have are General, View and Data Entry and none of these relate to security. I know I must be missing something obvious, but what! Any more advice please?
