Ipod Help please

Hi I got a ipod classic 160gb for my birthday i just connected it to my laptop and it has downloaded all the songs off my laptop onto my ipod! they are not in a order that i can find anything and I dont know how to delete half the songs i dont want!

Any help appreciated

You delete stuff from iTunes; you just use iPod to play the music.

Create a playlist in iTunes, and put the music you want on the iPod in that (if you don't want all the music from iTunes).

Then use the Artists or Albums or Songs menus on iPod to find your stuff.
