Opening pdfs

Despite having installed the latest Adobe 9 reader as advised, I am still unable to open pdfs on the Genesreunited web site. I have followed their recommendations about internet option settings but no luck. Anyone else with this problem? I can access the pdfs on my work computer which seems to have the same settings. Any suggestions?
