defrost

My fridge is supposed to de-frost itself ,at the moment I have quite alot of frost on the back apart from turning it off what can I do

when you do get it off, rub glycerine over the surface - makes it much easier to get the next lot off.

As to why it's not defrosting itself, I don't know. Turning the fridge off is the quickest way of doing it yourself, maybe with a hairdryer or something to hasten the process.
