Have you ever bought a bottle of vodka and found that the cap just turns and turns when you twist it but the seal never actually breaks?? This is my dilemma now, what do I do?

pmsl at the cap, yep ive done that. Get a pair of tweezers, stick them so it breaks the seal a little bit then try again, good luck :D

I took the large butchers clever to it and scored around the unseperated line around the cap of the bottle and it came free, i am now abler to partake of a few scoops, it was quite liberating knowing that I mastered a form of primeval technology and as i was doing this it brought to mind a similar incident that occurred whilst i was in the froggers bar several moons ago and was given that advice!!!!
