How do I code an e-mail in HTML. I have the HTML of an image I want to put in but when i paste the HTML into an e-mail and send it the reciever sees the HTML Code and not the image. Help! im using outlook 2003 pro.

I'm confused!

HTML basically provides a set of instructions for defining the layout of a page. It doesn't directly convey image information, it just defines the way in which that image should be displayed.

What exactly are you trying to do? Do you simply want a pictures to be embedded into your e-mail or are you trying to create a background?

when you open a new message in outlook on the top of screen i have a drop down menu (next to options) from which you can select the message format ie html,rich text or plain text.

I am trying to embedd some images as a background.
type in "watermark" in the outlook help panel.hope this helps
