my firefox is very slow these last few evenings, my broadband speed is as normal. What's going on?

What does your task manager say?

Have you installed any new extensions recently?

Run firefox in safe mode (its a link in the start menu->programs>mozilla firerfox), and see if that runs faster. If it does run at regular speed, and your normal firefox still runs slowly, then its likely an extension slowing things down.

i ran a free registry cleaner i found by chance, don't know if that''s the reason but it's fine tonight
