Uploading site

What are the steps to upload a website and find it running on web? I have webspace, i am given an ip address , i am given 'www' and 'db' folders. i have my files in my dubai project folder.

Now after uploading my project folder in ' www ' folder what should be written in the address bar
of IE to get the site running...............

You write the same thing as you would to get to any website... the address ... www.YourDomain.com

Within your webspace, you might have a folder called "public_html" or something similar. Your files you upload must go in this folder or the site won't work.
