or if you watch the ricky gervais podcasts, they use a monkey !
Some years ago, I saw a series of programmes on C4 which followed the creation of a new skyscraper in Madison Square Gardens N.Y. right through from the demolition of the old buildings to the finish of new one which was indeed very high. The whole series was very interesting but one thing has stuck in my mind. As the building was approaching heaven, the manpower needed became crucial because the workers who had happily taken it upwards just could not cope with the heights that were now needing building. They DID have to engage a specialist team and this consisted totally of native americans (red-indians). They just had no fear of heights at all and they walked along a three-feet gangway the same whether it at the bottom or top. Seeing them striding along without a care certainly made me queazy. No explanation could be offered as to why these men were built this way!
Agreed......I'm certain that it's the Mohawk Indian tribe who have absolutely no fear of heights and as such are in great demand for building skyscrapers and the like.

i ve heard the mohawk story but it is claimed they worked up to those heights due to enforced employment and that they are cheaper to employ, im not aware of mohawks working on modern skyscapers- or do they?
The channel four programme was about 15years ago. There was certainly no suggestion that the Mohawks were not happy with their work. It seemed to come completely natural to them just as other races have certain qualities. I can only think it is down to `inner ear` balance. Even if they were originally employed on skyscrapers as cheap labour, it would seem that it was more because of this fact that they could do it - maybe they were only too pleased to exploit their natural feature.
You may find this to be of interest........
