How can I make more room on my hard drive without destroying my pc. Im running windows ME, and am running out of space fast.

You can create space by backing up any mp3s or video files to CD or DVD if you have a writer.


You may be able to get more space by deleting some files but it is only a short-term solution.


Best thing to do is to get a second internal hard drive, 40Gb hard drives are very cheap nowadays.


If that is too technical get a external hard drive that plugs into your USB port (assuming your PC has a USB port).


These are very simple to install and you can get up to 300Gb which should be plenty.


Temporary Internet files can take ups lots of space, try deleting them.

Hi with WinME the system restore function takes up a huge chunk of drivespace and goes on taking it until there is nothing, left if you havent already done it I would be tempted to turn it off.
