how can I connect my small upstairs tv to make it work. I know it has to have the long lead attached to the sky box which is downstairs but at the moment there is no light on at the bedroom end. I have been using this Samsung tv for several years from new but I know it is something I have done but don't know what.

Does your TV turn on at all?

Maybe the cable has a fault or maybe the signal attenuates too much over such a long cable. Can you get some kind of wireless connection for it ?
