I see adverts from people offering to wash my wheelie bin once a month for £4 and (different adverts) clean my roof.
My wheelie bins are clean and why would I want my roof cleaned?

Window cleaner also cleans out my gutters once a year for £18. Had all the moss cleaned off my roof a few years ago. Unfortunately neighbour refused to pay to have his half done and moss is now growing back over to my side!
When I moved house in the UK I lost my wheelie bin cleaner. Yes, I could hose them out but he did such a fantastic job, especially on the garden waste bin.
Now, I miss my wheelie bins! We have to deal ourselves with all our waste but it does make us careful of waste, what we buy and use, so no bad thing I guess.

The trouble with bin liners is its yet more plastic.
I dont have a problem with having your bins washed, we used ot years ago when I worked away. The problem doing it yourself is that the hose is not strong enough, well not with the awful pressure we have, meaning you have to get the karcher out.
I put a new roof on recently so I dont have that problem.
