Text Messages

Hi, Why carn't I send/receive text messages to just one of my contacts, it's the one I use most?
Tried deleting & re entering as new contact but still the same? Rest of contacts are Ok so far?
Any help please. Thanks.

Yes I've asked that if they have done so by mistake but they say not? Will go to them & have a look. Thanks

If you've accidentally blocked the contact yourself then won't the blocked number be remembered and re-applied despite deleting and re-entering the contact?

A bit of a long shot from me but worth checking with you anyway, I think:

Are the text messages that you're trying to send to the 'awkward' number always long ones, whereas the other texts that you send are relatively short? (If so, the problem is occurring because your phone is converting those long messages to MMS ones, rather than SMS, which, for some reason, can't be sent).

Hi, No some of them are short? The receipient says my texts are green & all other contacts are blue?

The recipient that you refer to probably has an iPhone. A blue message has been sent as an iMessage, whereas a green message is a conventional SMS text message.
