Is your PC geared up to accept a wireless mouse?

I've been using a Wireless Logitech M525 for a couple of years now,
can't fault it.
If you always use your machine at the same desk and have plenty of spare USB ports you might as well used a wired.
Aog I use a wired mouse for my desktop but a wireless mouse for my lappie. The Wireless mouse I use is a HP H1D33AA. This comes with a little USB receiver that is plugged into the lappie and has been a damned good wireless mouse.

A wireless mouse needs a usb port for the receiver
Not always SP. depends how old or what type of PC AOG has.
AOG on the desktop I am using a Microsoft 1000 optical wired. Again a good mouse.

I use wireless very similar to Togo (might be that one actually). They are much more convenient but they do tend to break more often but their ease outweighs that inconvenience.

Thanks for all your kind responses guys, but £30 plus for a mouse seems a little steep, I thought more like this one £6.95 with free delivery.

Buy it
I suspect one gets the quality one pays for. Used a Logitech wireless trackball for years now. Wouldn't choose anything else as first choice.
I use the same one as Baldric and have had no problems with it.
I don't think AOG wants to pay the prices of some of those mentioned.
If he wanted cheap I'm surprised he considered wireless. Supermarkets tend to flog cheap & cheerful PC meeces.
If you are using your mouse to play games or do some precise job, you'd better use a wired one. because when doing such things, milliseconds and micrometers make a difference.

Using a wired mouse, you do not need to worry about battery life.

But if you want better mobility-means you want to use and move it easily, you can choose a wireless one.
Wireless every time AOG !
Once you get used to wireless, using a wired one will drive you crazy.
