Considering the trouble I've had with Firefox Mozilla should launch a fund for me.
No.
I have it installed but hardly ever use it.

A quick Google reveals requests for donations as far back as 2006.

In answer - No I wouldn't donate.
Had it for donkeys - never a problem - never donated.
I have donated for other free software that I use that I think is head and shoulders above other free software on the market. I use FF as my main browser but probably wont donate as for some reason it doesn't seem 'personal' enough to me.
Yesterday I had an e/mail from Firefox requestion a donation towards the $4 million which it hopes to raise by the time the clock strikes in the New Year 2017.

Sorry, I take the view that, if something is advertised as 'Free of charge', I shoudn't be asked for any money. I already contribute to Firefox by telling all ABers that it is the best of Browser and regret that New Judge is unable to resolve problems which he gets with it.

The prevalent use of ad blockers could be behind Mozilla's latest fund raiser - you can't expect people to work for nothing.

I used to be a big fan of Firefox but stopped using it some years ago as it was very resource hungry and crashed a lot.
