I know it sounds far fetched but just how do people start when they have an idea, where on earth do they start, how much money would it take and in the end how do people make money from apps?? I was talking to someone yesterday and an idea came up which sounds ridiculous but the mor we talked about it the more we thought what a good idea lol

Just like designing websites, app developers can either do it from the basics (which requires studying coding) or 'cheat' and start with some of the thousands of templates which are available (either using dedicated software or specialist online services).

Simply google 'create app' to see what's on offer.

Some people have made a lot of money from apps - Candy Crush makes $884,676 per day. That makes the money from in app purchases but many apps make the money from selling advertising space.

No idea is too ridiculous for an app.
