I was playing with my new toy - mobile phone and I tried swapping the sim with my previous phone but all did not go according to plan.

The old sim is huge and I can't use it. The new sim had small bit of card around it which fell off and 'disappeared'. If I put the sim in without the card the phone says that the sim is not there.

Is this card bit important? Can I get another one? Are all cats kleptomaniacs?

What you describe sounds like you need a micro sim. Old sized SIM cards now convert to micro sims by pushing the gold bit out and therefore making it smaller. This is probably what you have. If the sim fits there maybe a problem with the phone recognising the new sim.

Thanks guys.

I thought that cats were supposed to bring me 'gifts' but Frankie steals things. It is my own stupid fault.
