Could This Be A Scam?

We got a peculiar phone call at 12.30am this morning. The only no. which showed up on the phone is 111911, I have tried to find it but to no avail. A lady said that someone had been trying to ring us and they were trying to find out who it was. She asked where we lived and my husbands d.o.b. unfortunately he gave her both, being groggy with sleep. She went away to check and left musak playing, she came back and said she couldn't find anything out.
Of course I am worrying now as to who it was, checked phone bill in case it was one of those which was mentioned where you are getting a huge phone bill, but of course it won't show up for a couple of days. (BT) Bank account looks o.k. so any suggestions please? Who would ring at that time?:0(

rosyposy maybe a good idea to notify your bank and credit card supplier just in case - they would then keep a special eye out on your accounts.

Actually you've brought back the memory of the post re the lady in church, I got that same email that day of the joke and almost posted it but then saw Rosy had.

All I can say is that you must be pretty bored with life if all you have to do is troll thro' other peoples posts back to 2011 to find something to nit pick about. I am deaf as in severe -profound and am very poor on the phone. I wear headphones and use subs for TV etc which is how I heard the clomping on the stairs! I received Best answer for my reply to a thread about hearing aids last year. I certainly don't need to explain or justify myself to you and really don't know why I am replying to you, but actually I feel quite sorry for you. What has your reply got to do with my question anyway???

number and most of the time it can find it for you. I had a strange call and then found it to be a cold caller.
