Have you ever noticed the people in soaps always frequent the same pub and restaurant. I go out to to relax and get away from my usual surroundings.
What about you?

Lots of people have a 'local' we did - it was the heart of the community now boarded up due to falling trade after they banned 'you know what'.


When younger, would gallivant far and wide to many places.

Practicalities, I suppose. You can only have so many sets in a studio.

I try different restaurants but stick to the same pubs.

I spend every evening and weekend with my OH so don't want to go to a pub full of strangers if I'm out for the evening...

We go away for holidays and weekends to do that.

and how many people in coro and emmerdale walk out of "the pub" in a huff and leave all there drink.lol northerns dont do that at £2.40 a pint (min)!

Very good point, Ivor. I've often noticed that. Also, they take a couple of drags of a cigarette then stub it out. At almost £10 per packet, I should coco!

and it's the only shops and pubs i know that dont have cctv cameras outside

Also they have a part time job working in a cafe or shop earning min wage, yet can afford to go out drinking every lunchtime and evening.
Also if they are playing away , they must kiss on the door step and always get seen by the hurt party lol

They even end up in celeb the chase or pointless and have to explain who they are
