Hello,
I have a hi-fi turntable that has a 12volt power lead with a 3.5 mm male plug on it. I want to connect it to a mains 12 volt power adapter, but these all seem to have male plugs on too. Can anyone suggest a way to connect the two, (other than simply splicing them, which is a last resort!).

try Maplins they seem to have every lead known to man - or Ebay
OP wants a power connector not an audio connector.

I'd go to Maplins as well. The store staff are very helpful.

Thank you for your replies, as has been said, I need to connect two 12 volt power leads, not an audio cable, like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-Volt-5-Amp-12V-5A-DC-AC-Adapter-Charger-Power-Supply-LCD-Monitor-New-60W-/361091369577?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5412b90a69.

They all have male connectors, as has the turntable I want to supply power to.

According to Maplins, such things dont exsist, so I am going to cut one male connector off and replace it with a female, which can be found cheaply on ebay.

Thanks for all answers!
