Yes weve got it in the last half hour and its absolutely pelting down with hailstones now. cant hear my tele in the conservatory!

Middlesex/North Surrey border. Yes, my friend in Essex says she can hear it in the distance. It`s passed over quite quickly but I wouldn`t be surprised if there will be more tonight.

just had a massive heavy burst of thunder, and lightnening still ongoing. scared me to death and nearly jumped out of my skin.

It`s still flashing away - i think it`s sheet lightning and we had a bit of much needed rain but that didn`t last long.

All calm in Northants. There was about 3 drops of rain this morning and then it cleared up. 2 of those drops landed on my glasses and the other one on my shoulder.

Spectacular lightening here along with rumbling thunder that seems to be getting louder and louder. No rain as yet.
