How To Edit My Cv In Pdf On Google Chrome.

i have my cv saved on google chrome/drive.

i cannot edit it and update it with new and latest jobs, how do i do this or do i need to download an app to do this ?

That is the whole point of PDF files, that you can't edit them.

You'd do well to recreate your CV in Word where you can easily maintain it and then submit a locked PDF version to prospective employers.

I am sure others will be able to recommend a way of unlocking your PDF file but I am more reticent.
If you want to use Google Drive (I do, very useful) create the cv is Google Docs, then you can edit or whenever you like.
There is software available to convert PDF files to Word. Here's one example.

do employers like to see cv in pdf or word format ?
If they have a preference they'll specify, generally they don't mind.

Personally, I prefer to submit as locked PDF as it cannot be amended by anyone other than me.
Its best to save it as a pdf just as you send it off dd. That way they can be sure of opening it successfully and you can be sure it cannot be changed. But always go back to the original non pdf to update it or to tailor it for the next application. Save again as pdf and so on.
