Very sad. I wonder how much money in royalties the Neighbours theme tune earned for her and Tony Hatch considering it has just celebrated it's 30th anniversary.

I was thinking that myself MargoTester. Don't know if royalties are paid every time the music is played, but Neighbours is on about 3 times a day and the theme tune is played at the beginning and end, for 30 years! Just wish people from my era would stop dying as I'm getting nervous :-(. x

Very sad - a famous daughter of our city - her real name was Yvonne Burgess, and she was my mum's god-daughter. My mum is still going at ninety-two, she will be sad to hear this news.
