Hello. I think I may have asked this question before but can't find the link.

When I switch on my laptop I have to sign in with a password to enter. No one else but me used it plus I never set a password on any other computer I had and wish I hadn't on this one.

Its Windows 8.

Does anyone know how I can undo the password to avoid the hassle please.

Thanks Gizmonster. I didn't notice there was a collapsed section when I copied the text. This is the full version:

Press Windows key + R to open command prompt. Type "netplwiz" into the command promp. OR - Press Windows key + Q to open search, and type "netplwiz". Click it and open it.Uncheck "user must enter user name and password to use this computer", then click "okEnter your user name and password, then click "okRestart your computer.

I'm not on Windows 8 at this moment, but I believe netplwiz and control userpasswords2 will work.
