This is a picture of the newest member of my family. He is getting along with the cats, they are still afraid to go too close to him but they sit and watch him toddling around the place.

He hasn't got a name yet - Robbie seemed an obvious choice but my last dog was called Robbie. Eddie, Harry, Billy or Angus are favourites just now.

Isn't he just adorable - we are off to do some training now.

Tony - I thought of getting shelving for the cats to climb onto.

Princess Merlin fell off the back of my computer chair last night and landed with a great 'thud' on the floor. She would kill herself if she had to climb up high. (Vic the Vac - nah)

Anyway we are off to play in the kitchen.

He is a boy and will get a boy's name like normal little boys.

Merlin was named when I got her and I just added Princess in front of it. She bit me nine times in the same hand on the first day. My hand was a mess.

Frankie was Greebo - but I didn't like that at all so I changed it.

Anyway the wee lad has been around the kitchen and the hall, followed by Frankie (from a safe distance) but Merlin just ignored him and went back to sleep.

I might let him out to play later, he is plugged in just now.

I might try and get a real puppy the next time..... could be fun!

I fostered my cat Mowgli while I worked abroad for a while. When I came back he was Darcy!

mamy - pal's hound was called Buster. He died but it is a 'used previously' name.

mally - I thought of George (I hope that was Hoover's first name) but my last cat was George. He was very very old when I got him and was cranky and grumpy.

maggiebee - I really hope that you are on Facebook. This handsome lad is PC Mowgli (Police Cat) and he is beautiful.

One of my earliest dogs , a collie cross was'Sweep' - he was a star.

My cat is named Ivan.

He grooms the kitten, it's uncomfortable viewing!! It's cat porn...I feel I need to leave the room.
