What's everyone up to today?

I've just been stocking up on food for my mum for New Years eve/day. How I didn't break my neck on the sheet ice I don't know!

Shopping, washing, ironing, vacuuming... all the exciting things in life !

Diz, did my cheque arrive yet? I had hoped it would arrive by today.

Chillin after a hectic 3 days festivities, eating chocolate. Fire lit. Dog snoring. Ea

Nothing. I tidied this morning, Ginge is still in bed watching rubbish films, the fridge/freezer is still full, and it's very cold outside.

Its my first day back at work today so its like the worst day of the year for me

Ummmm: Not so good hun, the painkillers have run out and the pain and vomiting is back frequent. I'm waiting for a phone call from the GP and an appointment from Ferham Clinic with regards to getting Haloperidol prescribed so I can start sleeping properly again.

I've Henryed the house (we don't have a Hoover) with exception of Ground Floor, we hardly ever go down there. Sorted the Kitchen, all non-essential bits put away. watched some rubbish TV and popped in here now and again.

First day back at work, but no complaints at all - we fly to Barbados in Friday to start a Caribbean cruise for two weeks!

Fingers crossed. Lack of sleep is a form of torture. The medics should know this and deal with it xx

Ah my mum opens it. I didn't see it till I got into the bank! Thank you every so much! xx for BDRR and all the dogs. Also I forgot to take the porkpies to the soup kitchen so the dogs are having rice, meat, porkpie, samosas and other scraps :)

not a very healthy diet for dogs dizmo ? my dog only rarely gets very small amounts of '' human food '' .

They don't get treated like that every day. In fact probably a few times a month. We've never had any issues with any of our dogs and in the past certain dogs are kept to a strict diet. I don't find it an issue to treat them every once in a while and I certainly don't like wasting 'human food'. None of us eat pork pies and they aren't far different from dog meat in my opinion - you can tell I don't like them. They also have dog biscuits available 24/7. It's a setup that works for us and the RSPCA and other rescues don't seem to have an issue with it.

Lol...like you feed the dogs pork pies everyday!!

One year my dog, a Springer Spaniel, ate all the chocolates off the xmas tree. Now that is bad!!! Never used choc decs ever again.

He also managed to get on the kitchen worktop and eat a whole duck that was 'resting'
