I dropped my DVD on the floor from about 2.5m height, after that I reconnected all the wires and connections with the TV, all the programmes I recorded still there but no sound coming out of them. Press the "AV" no picture at all.

Hope someone could give me some advice what to do. Many thanks

Most likely the cable connecting the DVD player to the TV is not connected properly, especially if it's a SCART lead. Try remaking the connections.

have pull all the connections out and put it back on. Still the same
After giving it some thought I reckon it probably broke. Take it to a local hifi repair shop.
Dropping it from 8ft high has probably broken something inside the machine :-(
It would probably be cheaper to buy a new DVD player than to get the broken one repaired.
Are we talking about one of those little portable DVD players with a small TV screen?
If so it is probably beyond repair.

it is HDD and DVD Panasonic 1080p, it about £280.00, has free view installed.
Question Author
sorry, wrong measurement, the DVD dropped on the floor from about 2.5 feet only.
I think your going to have to get a repair man to have a look at it, momoko.
Can you watch Freeview channels normally via the Panasonic? (i.e do you get sound & vision?).
