Sunday. It's going to be another warm and sunny one.
We had a lovely day on the charter yesterday. One of the loveliest groups of people I have met. One wants to join the trust and do the skippers course, his wife is interested too, also in being in the heritage centre too. She asked if she could both. I told her I do! On the way back from the TA she and her daughter asked if they could come on the back with me so that they could see the lovely view over the river properly. There is not enough room for three. so they came on one at a time. Dad was busy taking photos of them 'steering' the boat They will be very welcome if they do join.
Tiggy was late coming in last night, didn't show up until 2.30. Foxy was on time.
All the usual suspects out and about as usual this morning.
It was a really good evening. Lots of happy people. The views as you walk are spectacular. Many of the 'first timers' said they are coming again next year as they enjoyed themselves so much.
Morning WBMXXX AND Beejay XXX up early again too hot to lie in bed . Good thing about up early jobs are done and can now do nothing for rest of the day .
I'm in the Heritage Centre today. It could be quite busy. I've got to go and pick up my mate in Thornbury first. He has an eyesight problem and isn't allowed to drive until it's rectified and his lovely wife doesn't drive. Except, according to him, she drives him up the wall. He lies of course! :o}
Morning peas. xxx The poor thing was frightened out of it's wits. It only needed a clam voice and gentle handling to let it know it was safe and coming with me would be a good idea. :o}
I like the avatar. :o}
minty. A teaspoonful of local honey a day will see off the hay fever. It works.
