Books On Kindle App

I have a Kindle app on my iPad. I have downloaded several free books on it and some I would now like to delete, but I can't find a way to do it. Please will someone enlighten me?

Where you see all the book titles. Keep your finger pressed on the screen. You will get a message 'remove from device'. Press that.

I downloaded my free ones from Amazon, if I remember correctly I had to log on to my account there to delete them.
Sorry it's a while ago now and my Kindle app is a Samsung Tab but I couldn't find a buttton just to delete it and I think that's they way I did it.
