Pardon?
Wrong. I like my shoes to cover that bit if they are closed front shoes, obviously toepost ones or mules are excluded :)
Toe cleavage is when your shoes don't cover the gap between you big toe and the next one Connemara.
Are we talking camel toe?
toe cleavage is right on the right foot and wrong on the left foot.

What on earth is toe cleavage? :-)
ahh, thanks daffy, so that rules out flip-flops.
Eccles - I would say my feet are my best feature - every toe starts from big toe to wee toe in the correct way.

I perhaps should have gone into a bit more detail and added a "who cares" option!

Toe cleavage is when you can see the joins(?) in your toes appearing at front of your shoe.......I'm sure there is a a more eloquent description.......
I think I can say, hand on heart, that I honestly couldn't give a flying fart whether toes, are naked, fully covered or being all coy and showing a bit of cleavage.

;-)

Alba flip-flops are fine as the whole foot is exposed it's just when you are wearing a ballet pump type shoe that is cut low that you may have cleavage problems.

But what is the correct way Conne? My view is that all the toes decrease in size from the big toe to the littl'un......but not everyone takes that view!
aahh, it's the 'knuckles' so to speak?

Is this to do with your getting dressed for a posh-ish do out?
Question Author
I'm bored Alba, I should be out doing stuff in the garden but it is so blooming miserable I can't be bothered.

I have been faffing in my wardrobe trying to find something appropriate to wear and have found a pair of sexy heels that I can't walk in that give me no toe cleavage or a pair of sensible kitten heals that give me lots of toe cleavage.

Perhaps I should have played another game of Candy Crush rather than emptying my idle thoughts onto AB....... :-)
oooh, Candy crush, lovely lass in my local shop is stuck on level 79, she's found a few new sweary words!

Go to the 'do' in sensible shoes and change into the killer heels at it :-)
Depends on the toes - if they're nice toes, with painted toenails and no plasters or scabs on them - right.
Question Author
Sound advice but my designer (but not VB handbag) isn't big enough and as the wine will flow tonight I don't want to risk leaving my shoe bag on the train.

I'm now further distracted as someone has found my private email and is asking me if I will give them work experience........curious......
Eccles if it looks dodgy it may be don't open it!!
I must confess that toe cleavage does absolutely nothing for me, now on the other hand knocker cleavage is a completely different animal.

WR.
I agree with Sals.

You shouldn't do it if you have crap feet.

But it works well with a pair of BPs.

Plus, if it's sunny (???) your feet pick up a bit of colour.
*WR cuts to the chase*
