Hold a finger down on the app until the all start shaking around then press the little black cross that appears in the corner of each app.

Press the round home button to release them all.

You'll need to check it doesn't add it back on next time you sync.

press and hold your finger on the app untill it shakes, then click on the "x" and confirm delete.
