Watching a few things on tv over past few days and there is so many places that I so want to see.

Niagra falls
Grand Canyon
Dolphins in the sea
Northern Lights

We all waste so much money on day to day rubbish that if we put our minds to it we could actually probably save up and go for these trips!

Northern Lights for me, it's been a wish for many years.
me too. went to scotland on hols a few years back, hoped to see them but no.

will have to go further north sometime
Haven't seen the Northern Lights - but I've done the rest - including swimming with dolphins. It's all worth doing.
I've done some of my 'bucket list, including...
seeing orang-utans in the wild
swimming with wild dolphins [and sharks]
visited the Pyramids
floated in the Dead sea....

I too would love to see the Grand Canyon, and am going to Thailand in June so I'm sure I'll be able to find something pretty exciting to do there too.

The only ones aside from that is to climb Uluru and visit New Zealand....one day [sighs]

Lisa - lucky girl!
Riding on an elephant through the jungle in Thailand was amazing, laughed all the way round. Always wanted to have afternoon tea at Raffles hotel in Singapore, enjoyable, but not earth shattering amazing. Northern lights definitely on my agenda
I've done all those apart from Niagara Falls.
I saw the Northern Lights on a day trip to Iceland (the country, not the shop lol) last February
Done all four of smowball's.

Mine include:

Antartica
Chile and Patagonia
Lincoln Cathedral
Return trip to the Faeroes and Iceland (for the north coast this time)
Done the Grand Canyon, definately an impressive hole in the ground would recommend it!

Dolphins can be tricky saw a pod of them sailing in Greece last year they were around the boat and then off - but they're a few quick backs slipping through the water and then gone - can't say he experience changed my life.

I would love to see Polynesia and Micronesia - preferably from a boat
Better get saving now !
Would love to walk among the Gorillas and Oran-tangs in the wild.

I would like to see

The Golden Triangle in India (especially the Taj Mahal)

and that's really my only unfulfilled wish
So Garfookle, your achievements in this field are.....?

Guy Fawkes is a) manmade b) transient - the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, no comparison.
I swam with wild dolphins off the coast of Mauritius...brilliant.

Seeing sperm whales off NZ was magcal too.
My ex thought she was a sperm whale......
I saw the Northern Lights over Salisbury Plain, scared the living daylights out of me! Apparently there is an eight (?) year cycle when you are more likely to see them in the UK.

I've done the others bar the Canyon, would like to do that. A friend found it really messed with his head when he did the helicopter ride into the canyon, watching the 'ground' disappear above him was a bit freaky!

I'm hoping to tick one of my list next year and visit Japan.
if you can get the health and safety buzzards to stop fecking with Guy Fawkes celebrations fine, but think i will stick with trying to see one of the most spectacular phenomena in the world.
Watching humpback whales breaching the water, off the coast of Labrador, was one of the highlights of my life.
I want to see a polar bear next. Went to Spitzbergen last year but we didn't see any polar bears. We need to go to Churchill in Canada.
