Could you do your forecasts a bit more in advance please stoke, so that I get a chance to see them and have a bet. By the time I see them the race is long gone. Can you also tell me a bit about betting. I have joined Ladbrokes online but I want to know how low I can go. For instance I see sibton has bet 50p each way, is that permissable online or is there a lower limit. I have already put a bet on Chicago Grey (£5 to win at 25 to 1) although I am a bit hesitant about it. It will be nice if it wins, fingers crossed.

Hi starbuckone, I bet with bet365 and just did £1 e/w on stokie's Chicago Grey at 20/1. Just as a matter of interest I entered a bet of 5p each way and it calculated the 10p stake on the betting slip. So I think you can go as low as you like because you won't win much and chances are they'll keep your money anyway! Normally I bet 50p e/w but I have been down to 40p e/w when my account was that low.

hi star, my bet was a 50p e/w lucky 15, i.e 30 bets at .50p each. If you get 1 winner the odds are tripled. unfortunately no luck today and so sorry about the horses that were killed.

Thanks for your help carrot and sibton. When someone puts a good horse on here again I will have £1 each way. I can afford to lose that. I will have to rely on whoever posts because I know nothing at all about horseracing. My father used to go to the dogs so I understand a few of the betting terms but do not know which are likely to win.

Sibton,, could be a few more killed in the name of sport this week and the rest of the racing calendar....doesn't seem to bother too many people, but nice to see you have a heart.
