'Tis once again the calories-dont-count day of the week and I shall be paying homage to Italian cuisine by making a rich bolognese with spaghetti. When I pop to Asda in a bit I will search the wine aisle for a juicy Italian red to go with it.

Bolognese recipe to follow.

Due to having a viral infection since Thursday I am eating nothing but dry digestive biscuits :(
I do have a craving for crispy bacon sandwiches though.

We have this tonight:

Tesco Finest* Restaurant Collection Scallop and Leek Filo Tartlet

Crispy handmade filo pastry cases filled with MSC-approved wild scallops and creamed leeks topped with a tangy Welsh rarebit sauce made with West Country farmhouse cheddar and gruyere.

New pots from the garden, and some nice colourful veg.
Morning nom..hope you are well and happy :-)
We will be having Sunday roast, Lamb, sprouts, green beans, carrots, roast potatoes, cream potatoes and yorkshire pudds, and maybe Eve pudding and custard for dessert
Yes :( I won't go into a description of it though in case I put you off your food. lol
It seems to be getting better now though but i'm definitely not able to eat any large amounts of food yet, my poor son, who usually eats like a horse, hasn't managed more than a single yoghurt since Friday night.

The full monty then, bobbie? :-)

Boxy... Scallops and gruyere are two of my favourite foods.
Roast pork (with crackling) roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots and curly kale and of course sage and onion stuffing.
Moi aussi, NoM - we are also fond of a scallop and black pudding salad, with either a spicy or a plum sauce.

Those yoghurt drinks are fantastic for putting you right again,Daffy X
I was going to make some chicken soup but I forgot to take some chicken pieces out to defrost. Looks like I'll be having a couple of ham and tomato sandwiches and a petit filous fromage frais for dessert.
