File deletion.

I have some files of size 0 bytes, and when I try to delete them I get the message: Cannot delete file: Cannot read from source file or disk.

Any ideas as to how to get around this problem please?

If they're 0 bytes, they're probably not actual files anyway. (They're just registry listings. Think of it like throwing away a chapter out of a book but leaving the index intact. There's still a reference to what used to be there but the actual information no longer exists).

It won't do any harm to leave the (imaginary) files alone but you could try moving them into a folder and then deleting that folder.

Windows creates all sorts of system files, and most of use have no idea what they are or what they are for.

But they may be important.

As they are small I would just leave them.
