pop up blocking help required please

when I'm on Windows vista no annoying pop ups, but when on younger sons laptop, XP, it's annoying. how do I disable it please.

Go into the tool bar (usually at top) click on tools,then click on pop up blocker.Then click on "turn on pop up blocker".
I have Windows Xp and that's where it is.

it's been ages since I've used his laptop...it's a mini one and doesn't suit my clunking great feminine fingers lol.
when I'm on his next, either I'll do it or mention to him. again many thanks.
By the way, are you still "singing" into AB? that's been my favourite typo of all time x
