Was wanting to top up Mr Alba's phone via ATM, but it wasn't working.
Bought voucher from shop which has 16 digit activation code.
Went online to top it up, 'they' want 12 digits, on the receipt it says text VO and 12 digits.
Aaargg!! looks like a phone call when he gets home or does anyone have an idea please?

Did the shop sell you voucher for wrong PAYG phone credit?
Question Author
alas, no Ducksie.
Am wondering if the website needs to be updated as well as the print out on the receipt.
Bit of a nuisance tho, but hey-ho, that tenner WILL be credited to his phone today lol
I do hope so, no one has tenner's to be throwing away - sorry In can't help with your question though
Question Author
not to worry Ducksie, always pleased to have a natter
(probably frowned upon, but any suggestions -polite ones- always welcome xx
:)
EE has taken over Orange & wants all Orange customers to transfer to them (naturally). I was on Orange PAYG but changed to EE. Kept the same number etc but now have a better package for £10 per month. (120 mins 100/200/300 texts (not sure don't ever use that many) plus data.

EE top up vouchers that you buy in store have 16 numbers so you may have been sold one of those.

Many thanks Sycamore.

Am glad to report that texting the 16 digit number eventually went through

Gawd, it used to be so simple in the old days lol
