My husband says that in the early seventies there were in-car LP record players - sounds very unbelievable to me - but does anyone out there know if this is the case?

Though obvious problems caused them to never catch on..

gosh, I have enough trouble with CDs all over my car.. imagine having a stack of records!
not Lps they were 45rpm discs i had one
they worked very well except you had to change the record every 2 mins +/ -
