My old computer broke yesterday and I can't access anything on it and consequently all my music appears lost.

If I install itunes on my new laptop and plug in my ipod, will all the music transfer automatically or is it much more complicated than that?

i suspect this is a common problem and has already been answered but most I've seen assume that you can still access your old computer, obviously I can't.

Cheers
