I want to replace my hard drive but I dont have my original windows xp disc. Is it still worth doing? Is it very easy as I am a novice?or should I just buy a new computer?. Step by step instructions would be a bonus. Thanks all.

Are you replacing your hard drive because your old one is about to give up or is it just full and you need more space?
If you just need more storage then try something like this Seagate 320GB drive from Maplins for 60. Just connect it to a USB port and off you go.

If you must change out the disc - see here for an easy (but not free) option

If it's just storage pug is right
