on my monitor, which takes about 2 thirds of my screen.
It will go away when I click on it, but comes back in a few minutes.

I am on Win 7. I'm afraid I still cant get rid of it, as there are so many items in the task bar box, I wouldn't know what to open, close, delete etc.
I am not using the laptop as a pc, its just for my CCTV security camera.
Have done a Malwarebytes?

Have you tried clearing the cache completely and then trying to use the monitor?
Does this come on straight away or only when you open your internet browser?

I'd still clear the cache.
What happens if you disconnect the CCTV camera?
