I prefer the leftovers to the actual Christmas dinner. My favourite is making bubble and squeak. Is it just me or do any of you feel the same?

Yes.....it IS just you.

Bubble and Squeak eh!....you certainly know how to live.

Turkey sandwich, turkey salad, turkey curry,....yes....I can't get enough of those...."leftovers."

*** hate them.
Turkey Jalfrezi is on the menu here today or tomorrow, lovely grub.

I also love meals of 'bits' - pork pie, turkey, fried up spuds and (if absolutely necessary) even some green crap.

Listen Sqad, I am in fact very high class. I even cut the crusts off my bread and dripping sandwiches.

Turkey....yuk! We had a pork joint this year.
LOL....LOL.....LOL

\\\\even some green crap.\\\

never tried that.......
Bubble is the best bit about Christmas dinner, I had a humungous plateful last night and it was absolutley delicious.
bubble and squeak is the food of gods

turkey dinners are a crime against food though

You're doing it wrong then, sloopy - a well hung bird is a joy ...

I think we should declare today as National Bubble & Squeak Day!
Mrs O, "innuendo"... isn't that an Italian suppository?

lol @ janbee
I like bubble and squeak. This years xmas dinner was actually nice. I only eat turkey with lots of cranberry sauce. Otherwise I would really touch it.
Leftovers are for life, not just for Christmas! OH tells me it is a legal requirement for me to cook a roast every Sunday, and every week I deliberately cook too much, ready for good ole bubble and squeak for Monday's brekkie. Or roasting an extra large chicken for the two of us, with a view on the rest ending up curried. Even bolognese is better the next day, but on toast and covered in cheese (just the bolognese, not spaghetti!)

Not-so freshly cooked turkey and gammon tonight, with mash and pickles.
Morning MrsO..... my Christmas dinner this year was leftovers..... delicious... especially if you add breadcrumbs and flaked almonds...however you say almonds...x
I've had enough stuffing to last a lifetime.
Then you should have shared.....I had none....x
Might have a little left.....
