I'm up to the hospice later this morning to visit the new Creative Therapy room that many of you helped to fund. I saw it when the builders had finished and before the furniture etc. went in. I've been invited to go as a guest and see it in action with patients in there too. An honour indeed. I'm looking forward to it.

I sympathise, janbee. I live in a similar resort, though much farther north. 60 years ago people flocked here on a daily basis, now it is a toilet.

I loved the place when I first moved here. I had been living in London so even the sewers of Bombay would've looked good after that. I thought the town was vibrant and exciting. Now, it's just a squalid dumping ground with the occasional little pocket of loveliness. The worst area is the ghastly Marina. What a chav mess it is.
